Description
We are excited to announce that the Forest Service has issued a one year permit to our business, Palisades Marina, in order to assess the need and feasibility of boat mooring or slips on Palisades Reservoir. Twenty-five slips at Calamity Campground will be available through a random draw process, giving all who desire a slip an equal opportunity to be selected to keep their boats on the water for this summer season.
The drawing will be conducted on May 15 th at 10:00 am and successful applicants will be notified immediately. Please be aware that applicants not responding within 5 days of notification will lose their drawing rights, and the next randomly drawn applicant will be notified.
We are pleased to inform you that the new docks will be installed and available for use prior to June 1st through September 30th, weather permitting. All slips will be approximately the same size, accommodating boats up to 8'6" wide and no longer than 28' long.
The random drawing will be conducted in cooperation with the Caribou-Targhee National Forest staff, ensuring complete fairness in drawing results. We understand that you may have questions regarding the location and physical capabilities of the new moorage, and we encourage you to contact us through email at palisadesmarina@gmail.com or phone at 208-757-3999.
The pricing for each slip is $400.00 per month. In addition, we will provide up to 4 "Transient or Overnight" slips for guests for up to 14-day maximum stay limit priced at $30.00 per night. Nightly reservations will be available on our website.
We welcome you to be a part of this exciting opportunity to experience the beauty of Palisades reservoir, and we look forward to seeing you at Palisades Marina at Calamity Campground.
